This Cookie Policy explains how ScanBill ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar browser storage on scanbill.co. We keep this deliberately minimal — we do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. What we store
- Authentication — when you log in, your session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between visits. Signing out clears it.
- Preferences — small values such as your light/dark theme choice and your preferred export format are stored locally on your device so the app remembers them.
- Payments — our payment provider, Paddle, may set its own cookies during checkout to process your payment securely. These are governed by Paddle's own policy.
2. What we don't do
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data or share it with ad networks. Our browser storage exists only to make the Service work and to remember your preferences.
3. Managing cookies and storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings. Note that clearing them will sign you out and reset your saved preferences, and blocking storage entirely may prevent you from staying signed in.
